CALLAWAY Diablo Edge Driver Callaway Diablo Edge Driver The Callaway Diablo Edge Driver is designed to give golfers a distance advantage every time the ball is teed up. Every aspect of the Callaway Diablo Edge Driver has been engineered for improved distance and stability. The entire clubhead is made from a modular, 4-piece fused Titanium design for the most weight-efficient driver Callaway has ever designed. Not only is it light, but the design allows for discretionary weight to be strategically placed for added distance and penetrating ball flight. Callaway is also using a chemically milled hyperbolic face. They use a chemical reduction process to selectively remove unwanted material from the faceplate for precision thickness control. The hyperbolic design means there s greater thickness at the edges than the center, allowing the golf ball to spring off the clubface for increased ball speeds which result in greater distance off the tee. A more aerodynamic body design creates 8 less drag than the Big Bertha Diablo model to generate faster swing speeds. The standard model features Callaway s shorter, low-profile S2H2 hosel which allows for additional weight relocation for enhanced stability. The Tour model features a standard hosel along with a slightly more traditional head shape, less face progression and more forward center of gravity to appeal to lower handicap players.
